Nordsprings designs integrated thermal bathing systems built around a clear relationship between barrel, water circulation, thermal control, and mineral enrichment. Rooted in Nordic bathing traditions and crafted in Austin, Texas, each system is designed as a cohesive whole, with every element supporting clear, stable, and restorative water.

These systems are made to integrate into private homes, retreat settings, and hospitality spaces, offering bathing that feels intuitive, grounded, and consistent across seasons and climates.

Our story

The story of Nordsprings is shaped by a desire to slow the pace of making and return attention to use, material, and care. Inspired by Nordic bathing culture, the focus has always been on immersion as a daily practice rather than a momentary experience.

Built in Austin, each system reflects a careful balance between elemental materials and thoughtful engineering. Forms are refined to endure, allowing water, heat, and minerals to be felt fully through the body in a way that remains steady and repeatable over time.

Nordsprings began with a simple question: What if design could help us return to the rhythms of nature? That question has followed me through every chapter of my life: from early exposure to yoga and natural wellness, to building and scaling a global technology company, and eventually becoming a yoga teacher

I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of art, engineering, and wellness. That’s where Nordsprings lives. With our team in Austin, we shape each system by hand, honoring natural materials, supporting long-term wellbeing, and creating bathing experiences that invite pause, presence, and renewal.

Craftmanship

Craftsmanship at Nordsprings is defined by process and attention. Every barrel and system is built in our Austin workshop, where materials are shaped, assembled, and refined by hand using heritage techniques.

We work with thermally modified wood, handcut stone, stainless steel, and water, integrating refined engineering to support durability, performance, and long-term water quality. Each decision is made to ensure the system remains reliable, quiet, and grounded in its environment over time.
